美国留学：私立寄宿中学排名解析

　　随着低龄留学的兴盛，很多家长已经逐渐明白，实际上美国官方的教育部门从未对美国的各类高中进行过排名。只是《美国新闻与世界报道》、《华尔街日报》等美国媒体根据各校公布的数据，对各类高中进行排名，其中也包括美国私立高中的排名。这些排名的标准五花八门，有根据SAT平均成绩的，有根据录取率的，有根据国际学生比例的，有根据学费贵贱的，有根据常春藤及名校录取比例的。其中，根据SAT平均成绩来排名的榜单，最广为流传。

　　但国人的排名情结已经根深蒂固，难以撼动。提起某个学校，首先拿排名说事。不管自己选校还是委托中介，排名是选校的唯一标准。确定学校，更是拿这个标准作为标尺，或切在前20名，或切在前50名，排名在此之后的学校不再考虑之列。

　　虽然美国留学网（http://us.eu.com.cn/）尚不了解这个排名榜单的资料获取渠道、数据统计方法，但从该排名的发布机构的主体性质看，似乎这个排名有一定的权威性。还是那句话：只作参考，不要依赖。
