　　美国高中申请

　　一：年龄

　　美国高中是9-12年级，相当于国内的初三至高三。国内学生初二毕业至高三在读学生均可申请入读美国高中。国内学生读完初二后可以直接申请入读美国高中9年级，而国内高三在读学生建议申请入读美国高中10年级。一般美国高中的入读最低年龄要求为14岁。

　　二：学术条件

　　美国高中对于学生在中国的成绩也会予以评估。一般会要求平均分在80分以上。一些好的私立高中，甚至要求学生的成绩在90分以上或者在全年级前10%。因此，学生国内的成绩好坏对于录取会有影响。

　　三：英语标准化考试

　　一般而言，美国留学高中会要求国际学生提供英语标准化成绩，如：SLEP、TOEFL、IELTS或 SSAT。学校通过英语标准化成绩确定该学生的英语程度，以此来决定该学生是否需要参加ESL语言课程及相应年级和课程的选择。

　　四：老师推荐信

　　立思辰留学360介绍，申请高中会需要学生提供三封推荐信。英语老师，数学老师，班主任或校长各提供一封推荐信。推荐信中需要老师对于学生的在校表现以及各方面情况做出评价和推荐。好的推荐信也是学生能否被美国高中录取的重要依据。有时候，好的推荐信可以弥补学生学术成绩上的不足。

　　五：学生申请自述

　　学生自述(Personal Statement)一般需要学生自行撰写。可以做一下子自我介绍，兴趣爱好介绍，获奖或者课外活动介绍等。有些学校也会有自己设计的问卷调查表格，或者命题小作文让学生填写。这主要是让学校对学生有一个初步的认识。

　　六：家长申请自述

　　家长申请自述主要是要求家长介绍一下孩子。可以包括孩子的成长，性格，或认为孩子的优点，发展方向等情况以及自己的职业，家庭情况等。家长自述能让学校了解家长眼中的孩子以及孩子的成长环境。

　　七：学校面试

　　美国高中申请基本都需要面试。面试一般分为，现场面试，电话面试以及视频面试。现场面试一般需要1小时左右。电话和视频面试一般需要20-30分钟;根据学生面试情况决定面试时间长度，学校通过面试来评估学生的综合能力。

　　八：家庭财力证明

　　家长需要提供银行的存款证明来担保学生在美国期间的学费。存款证明需要原件，各大银行均可以。一般我们建议，去美国读高中的家庭存款证明能在人民币100万元左右。

　　九：护照

　　在申请前，学生需要把护照事先办理好，申请时，需要提供学生护照扫描件给学校。

　　美国高中费用

　　美国高中分为教会中学和非教会中学，走读中学和寄宿中学，私立和公立中学。其中教会中学、走读中学和公立中学学费会相对便宜一些，不过不同地方也会有差异。不过中国学生留学美国公立中学只能以交换生的形式留学一年，如果要继续在美国留学必须转入私立中学，所以美国高中留学以私立中学为主。

　　教会中学一般情况下，东北部地区学校费用相对较低，非寄宿学校年费用在6000到7000美金之间，寄宿学校年费用在18000到30000之间。西部、中西部和南部地区学校费用较高，非寄宿学校年费用在10000到16000美金之间；寄宿学校年费用在24000到42000之间。

　　跟教会中学相比，美国非教会中学的费用相对要高一些，就非教会学校而言，不同地区学校的费用也是有差异的，一般来说，东北部及西部地区的学校一年学费在25000到35000美金之间，寄宿学生费用在35000到50000美金之间；中西部和南部地区的学校一般一年学费在15000到25000美金之间，寄宿学生费用在30000到40000美金之间。
